Mario Patry

Mario Patry, B.A., LL.L., D.D.N., co-founded the notary firm now known as Gagné Isabelle, a legal corporation. He earned his degree in notarial law from the University of Ottawa in 1977.

This seasoned practitioner and specialist in real estate and business law has served a diverse clientele of individuals and entrepreneurs for 45 years. A recipient of the Plume d’or award from the ANO (2019), he was named Person of the Year in 2013 by the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce. Deeply committed to his community, he chaired the board of directors of the Cégep de l’Outaouais Foundation (2009–2015), served on the board of directors of the Pierre-Janet Foundation (2001–2008), served on several boards of the Desjardins Group (1979–2000), and led the Association of Right-of-Way Professionals (1996–2006).

He was awarded the Order of Merit by the Civil Law Section of the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law in 2022.
